all right welcome back to the 2023 PDGA Master World Championships and the Flagstaff Arizona presented by MVP this is the second Masters Major of the Year from the PDGA with the temp Solutions up in Oregon players seeing a lot of West Coast here this year for uh for the Majors look at our leaderboard Chris Smith solo first place at eight under shooting 100 through front nine and then we got a tire second there with Mike Moser Mike Congress plus Brian who's on the Chase card chasing my name is Stephen Wiss and I'm joined by Steve Boylan and I'm happy to be here as a player and a commentator so let's let's get right into round the second half of round two Ryan's shooting the hot the hot front nine for uh for our four players three under going in the hole ten a long par three at 426 feet downhill uh really navigating through these trees to this open area wide open green a lot of opportunity for some ground play if you can get through there what's unique about this hole is it really brings the power lefty or power or hands into play if you have a great touch on an anhyzer you don't need a Big Driver disc you can get down there sometimes in the mid-range um Ron puts my one out there nice he gets out in the open but uh but his kind of faded left on him a little bit there toward the end so I know you wish it would have held Rob Bainbridge comes up next he's getting he's lining up he's been throwing straight at all these baskets and nothing different there besides being low got a good forward kick though off that ground good skip Chris finally getting to use this forehand again his power forehand you do want to throw it low if you can if you can do that you can see uh he's disappointed with how high he got that knew he's gonna hit get some cabbage there so um he's he's got some work to do Mike had a line on it just a little low too and they got caught right on the edge of the slope there now we're gonna be able to see some scramble ability here uh that was beautiful from Chris um I think it...
