What is the site activation fee?
There's a one-time $9 setup fee when you first activate your subdomain. This covers domain provisioning and initial configuration. After that, you're billed at your monthly rate — $4.99 for Member or $2.99 if you lock in the Founding Member rate.
Is Disc Golf Buzz a free platform?
Yes — the core experience is completely free. You can watch 18,500+ videos, browse 4,300+ courses, use the community chat, save favorites, and volunteer at courses without ever paying. The paid tiers unlock your own subdomain and club tools, not the disc golf content.
What happens to my subdomain if I cancel?
Your subdomain and all content stay intact for 30 days after cancellation so you can export everything. After that, the subdomain is released. Your Explorer account remains active — you never lose access to the free platform.
Is the founding member price really locked forever?
Yes. $2.99/month, locked for the life of your membership. As long as you stay subscribed, you will never pay more. This is our way of thanking the people who believed in Disc Golf Buzz early.
Can I upgrade from Explorer to Member later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time from your profile page. Note that the Founding Member rate ($2.99/mo) is only available for a limited time during our early launch — once those spots are gone, new members pay the standard $4.99/mo rate.
