foreign day at the 2022 PDGA Tim Solinski U.S Masters disc golf championships from Quad Cities it's Grant Zellner and Jennifer Allen watching now back nine coverage of the FP 40 division at the course known as Camden 2 where we just saw Sarah Holcomb for the first time all day long take a stroke out of own Scoggins lead of course sets up well for both of their forehands a couple other players kind of trying to move into the mix here we have Jenny Umstead who was at one down and Melody ring also shooting well so far we're gonna start it off this back nine hole number 10 Par 3 305 feet so we have a string of a couple short holes in a row here this one definitely allows for some ACE runs it's a downhill shot over that deep ravine you want a slow disc that's going to hold that straight line and finish right here at this beautifully placed basket area you're so steep the ground sort of acts as a backstop for the player so I can really go after this one ah you just don't want that downhill putt behind the basket it is a steep one for sure gonna work that forehand straight into the hill trying to you want to yeah that's perfectly done stick right underneath those uh railroad ties or logs there if you hit one of those it could kick you all the way back down and roll you to the ravine wow couple of beautiful forehands to start us off let's see if own can follow I own honestly think I mean they get good speed control with the forehand as you can see that that one gets away from own but I feel like this is one of the ones the backhand is a little bit easier because there's not a lot of room on that left side to work beforehand that one was coming in hot everyone having a good time up there at the Jeep had screaming as these this come in so the basket that's pretty cool yeah this is a fun one we really definitely try to go for own doesn't like when her card mates get a birdie without her it's gonna happen you know she's gonna go for that putt hmm Stephanie just off the edge of the basket...
