we are here with the clubhouse leader casey white 11 down casey you must be feeling great yeah absolutely feeling incredible uh the scorecard didn't look like it was totally clean off the tee but you were 100 scramble and we're amazing on the grain yep uh my backhand has been pretty trustworthy lately uh i just found a couple bad spots but most of the time i had an opportunity for birdie and sometimes i made a long putt and other times i got out of the fairway or got out of the rough and just cleaned it up you now have yourself a share of a course record here did you feel you were on that kind of pace today um like always potential i feel like this is one of the courses that there's always more time to score so missing out on a couple birdies here and there isn't the end of the world even though it feels like maybe it is there's always more scorable holes down the stretch so like if you have a solid start there's always potential for that breakout like kind of round this uh this is playing in the northeast has got to be the type of course the type of terrain you're used to uh how much advantage does that give you this week i think the most probably as far as like somebody of my skill type which is basically like a lot of scramble strength and a lot of like sidearm bendy kind of shots i think that this is my place to play because every single tee shot is fair and everybody can play good from the fairway but once you get off the fairway it's a matter of knowing what to do from there and get creative and also executing you're wearing a hat from the masters and here you are leading another major championship what is that what does that mean to you when you hear that you're leading a major yeah that's something special that's the first for me but i i feel like i put the work and i was here for nine days before anybody else showed up i played the course by myself four times through didn't play with a single other person so i was locked in and just kind of i made it happen what's your plan for...
