welcome back to the 2022 pdga amateur disc golf world championships returning this round four to messer park with lead card action of the ma1 field grant zellner of the pdga alongside pavo stubstad of central coast disk golf we have enjoyed watching several of these players for several days now and this is sure to be a treat indeed grant i like that this tournament showcases three different courses but i gotta say mesker is my favorite of the three so i'm excited to see the players tackle it again today message course known for elevation changes lots of ups and downs and of course heavy woods there's your leaderboard paul crans matthew helms ilkangro and austin bates on tap today with a host of players nipping at their heels paul eight strokes ahead of second place going into this round looking at hole number one 494 feet a par three and perhaps the most difficult hole of the entire tournament i would agree with that grant as a matter of fact in round two the other round here at mesquer we saw zero birdies on hole one let's see if someone can get it today team first pole crayons paul crans leading things off mid-range in hand looking for that layup zone just to the right of that cluster of trees which is about 305 feet downhill from the t paul going for the layup play as i imagine probably 90 percent of the field is doing a little deep but he should be okay next to t matthew helms looking now at matthew helms i am the same landing zone i think a minute ago i said to the right that was looking back toward the tee from the basket of course players left here and matthew with a very similar shot a little bit shorter than paul might be a little less pinched off had a rough start to his tournament and has been clawing his way back up toward the lead card over the course of rounds two and three and he is decidedly in the mix at this point it's great to see him back on lead card since we haven't seen him since our round one feature card another similar looking shot going for that landing zone on the left looks good and rounding out the 3 pmt time austin bates looking at...
