i it's day one of the 2021 pdga tim zielinski us masters disc golf championship i'm grant zellner with a recap from harmony ben's disc golf course in columbia missouri the fp40 women's division started things off early this morning dez redding and jennifer allen keeping things very close just one stroke behind our leader own scoggins heading into day two at indian hills in the mp50 division playing today over at the dam course at binder state park patrick brown opens up a sizable lead on the field at 12 under par all eyes on the mp40 division tackling the world class course here at harmony benz in columbia missouri dave feldberg ends round one in the lead shooting a course record we caught up with dave here with dave feldberg day one leader in mp40 shooting the course record at harmony ben's a 10-under par round tell us about it uh you know i i've never played it for a cop dish around i had one practice round on it so i did not know what to expect but i started off with 100 foot throw in and then i made a 80 footer on the third hole and then maybe like a 50 footer on the fifth hole and things started to go good i kind of slowed down at the end and protected it as i saw that it was a good score and i hope to be able to attack it stronger on sunday i noticed i was ahead of everybody and there's holes that you can get fours or eights so i kind of played conservative took some fours i missed one inside the circle that most people would have made about a 16 footer and besides that i played pretty clean had a couple good breaks as the players would say but can't play what of course without some good breaks tomorrow's the damn course i think that's the one that shapes up the best for me it's a got a bunch of par fours that i could possibly reach and then some wide open holes i like and some tricky wooded ones i like that one so i'm gonna head over there right now and get some practice in and that's what you people need to realize if you're playing a big tournament and you want to play good the next day...
