they say there's no rest for the wicked and that goes double for anyone hoping to take home the PDG a national tour points crown this season just six days after the final putts dropped to pro worlds the tour kicks up again 825 miles away at the Beast of the East iron Hill disc golf course home of the Delaware disc golf challenge normally a par 72 monster iron hill was shortened slightly this year due to some damage trees but that doesn't take away its teeth yeah I mean because there's there's not just woods but these are long holes to where you have to throw your driver you're not throwing it you know there's some 40 courses we have to get away with on your putter a mid-range here you're throwing your driver and if you hit a tree with the driver we all know what happens it goes way off the fairway it's very difficult and the fact that the distance is high in the woods but the rough isn't that rough like if you compare it to like in North Woods which is a very new course you get off the the fairway there you are in trouble on the heels of the longest term of the year that means endurance will come at a premium world's requires so much focus you know five grams of golf plus a couple weeks leading up to it you're really dialed in on that that that's all you're focused on mentally so to try to get off of that one track that you're on for so long straight into a new new course a new tournament new everything is a little bit difficult but it'll be the same for all of us here I took the last couple days I just started practicing today Thursday the day before the tournament so normally I get more practice but I felt like I needed a couple more days than normal after world just to kind of chill out and really just kind of regroup and focus on my next task which is coming out here to Delaware and have another great performance that said there's also opportunity with both world champs sitting this one out it provides a chance to build momentum into a crucial stretch of the year obviously I'm gonna use that to my advantage and look back...
