2018 PDGA Pro Worlds: Sit-Down Interview With Paul McBeth

Watch Paul McBeth, four-time PDGA World Champion, sit down in an intimate interview at Smuggler's Notch for a candid look ahead to the 2018 Pro Worlds. The conditions have been ideal so far, with clear skies and pleasant temperatures, a welcome change from previous years' weather woes. As McBeth discusses his preparation for the event, he reveals that he feels more comfortable with his game than ever before, thanks in part to a year of focused practice and training. With four world titles under his belt, he's looking to break through to five, but acknowledges that this year's competition will be different - and more challenging. The conversation touches on McBeth's mental approach to the tournament, including how he's learned to manage pressure and expectation. He shares insights into his preparation process, emphasizing the importance of consistency throughout the year rather than trying to cram everything into one week.
