Sidearm Only round with Uli, plus Givaway
Uli takes on the final stretch of his golf season by focusing on perfecting his sidearm game at Boyd Hill. As he heads into the woods for a challenging round, Uli aims to overcome a recent slump and regain his form. With the GMC tournament and MVP Open coming up, making the finale is a top priority. To fix his sidearm woes, Uli adopts a new strategy centered on spin, less effort, and flippier plastic. He'll be relying on his most understable disc, a highly spinny roller, to help him achieve accuracy and distance. As he works on fine-tuning his release point and spin rate, Uli also announces a giveaway for his bestie who has been an incredible supporter throughout the season. I don't want to. >> What is up everybody and welcome back to the channel. Today it's just going to be a little chill day out here at Boyd Hill. I'm going be working on a few little things, mostly sidearm, actually, specifically Sidearm today. Uh heading into the final stretch of the season, I have GMC followed by the MVP Open. And one of my goals is to make the finale. I'm sitting in like 45th or something, 32 get in. So, I'm right there. Um, one thing I've noticed in my game is going into the final stretch, you got to have a good sidearm. You got to be able to scramble really well. We're heading into the woods. We're heading into a place that has a lot of like 300 foot sidearm approaches, and I have to be dialed. I mean, typically I am with the sidearm, but lately I just haven't even wanted to throw it. I mean, more I throw, the more tired I get. And it's just been so off this year that I've just tried to stay away from the sidearm in particular unless I'm inside. Um probably about 150 200 feet. Um so that's a problem and I need to fix it. I'm here to fix it today. made a breakthrough yesterday just trying to film a reel. And I'm going to stick with that same sort of game plan today, which is more spin, less effort, flippier plastic, flip stuff up, try to get away from the flex shot because my turn rate is like way shorter, and I just don't have time to correct that right now. So, I'm going to be flipping um stuff up and just trying to get my release point dialed, get that spin rate up, and we're going to see how how far under par I can get. hole one a little 250 footer. So, one of the ways that I figure out how to put the spin rate up is I get my most understable, which is this. This is my flippy roller. This thing has no stability at all. Um, more spin, less arm movement, more accurate. Goes a little farther. That was a little dying piece. So, I'm going to be doing a giveaway today. Bestie has just been absolutely fantastic this year with uh the support of me, the support of...
