what up everybody and welcome back to the channel and today's episode of down the fairway I'm gonna be giving you my best tips on how to properly prepare for a rainy day or a wet situation my first tip is pretty obvious make sure you bring enough towels to keep your hand dry and your disc drive and of course you can keep an umbrella in your car you never want to be the guy who's going around asking everybody for their spare oh brother the number 2 most important thing when you get to the disc golf course in its wet is to have the proper footwear obviously having a nice pair of gore-tex shoes would be ideal but for a lot of people that's a pretty big investment just for a nice pair of shoes for the disc golf course so I'm gonna give you a little tip that I've used in the past to make sure that I have the proper grip on the tee pad I know when it's gonna be a very wet and slippery day I bring a few extra towels just to make sure I have those for my hands and to keep my dish dry but I also keep one in the bag just in case I find that tee pad that is extra slippery now this is a cool trick that you can use on the course to make sure you have the proper grip when you're throwing your tee shot as you could tell by me laying that towel down it gave me the proper grip I needed to throw a really good shot on that hole I see most of the mistakes made on a slippery tee pad as somebody running up and being a little bit too aggressive take the time slow down disk down and you'll find yourself getting more consistent on rainy days I hope you guys enjoyed that episode please remember to like and subscribe leave a comment in the comment section and remember I'll see you down the fairway
