what's up everybody and welcome to another episode of down the fairway in today's episode of down the fairway i brought on simon liza who's gonna give you his best tips for playing in the cold we're out here maple hill where it is what 19 degrees yep and so i thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give you guys our tips on how to stay warm so that you can play a consistent amount of gold all right a couple things that are key to staying warm i mean everybody's going to be slightly different of course but my number one tip is actually mittens and not gloves because in mittens your fingers all stay together and keep each other warm which is often much better than having single sleeves for your fingers and my dad always used to tell me if your core is warm the rest of your body will be warm so layer up right around your chest area and keep this warm and then your hands your arms your feet will stay much warmer because your heart is warm that works awesome tips from simon right there unfortunately i don't have mittens but i also have another trick that a lot of people probably have as well make sure you bring your hand warmers it's a easier way to keep your hands warm especially in the cold i find it that the most important thing when it's cold is making your putts inside the circle and if your hands are cold it's really hard to open up and connect those putts so my biggest tip is hand warmers also if you remember grab some hot tea grab some coffee keep it with you as long as you can as long as that stays warm you're gonna be warm okay extra tip from me i know some people don't like this idea but long underwear like tight running pants are actually so good at keeping your entire lower body warm and i think it all feels really nice to be like nice and compact it really helps in the cold you can't do that without warm hands baby thank you for joining this episode of down the fairway remember to like subscribe leave a comment in the section below and remember we'll see you down the fairway guys 36 episodes amazing you
