hey welcome back to the channel and today's episode of down the fairway I'm going to be giving you three of my best tip for throwing downhill consistently the first tip is stay away from the fast big rim disc when throwing downhill the reason being is the faster the disc when it's going downhill the more inconsistent the flight is actually going to be and if you mess up it'll enhance your mess up because of how fast and big that rim is and of course you want to match the angle of the hillside with your shot I see a lot of people throwing straight off of a hill and all that's really gonna do is go the distance that you can throw and then it's gonna run out of energy and then they just kind of fall straight down to the ground and not get you that distance that you so desperately need on a long downhill hole the third thing I'm going to give you advice about it's try to stay away from the big Anheuser when throwing an anhyzer down a hill you lose a lot of consistency I suggest staying away from the Anheuser throw and focus more on hyzer flips or even flat shots with mid ranges and putters for me I like to throw fairway drivers and mid ranges with a neutral stability so that I can highs or flip them down the hill when highs are flipping down a hill you actually give yourself a little bit more leeway with your mistake because of coming out on Heiser it's not automatically gonna want to turn over or just go straight to the left especially with a neutral stability remember guys when throwing downhill make sure you're taking the necessary precautions to prevent injury I know a lot of these tee pads have a nice big drop off at the end of them and we want to stay safe out there so I would suggest staying away from big long-run ups and kind of gravitate towards that mid-range to putter throw make sure that footwork is really nice and smooth and until next time I'll see you guys down the fairway
