Hannah McBeth Talks About Growing FPO - Grip Locked Clips
Hannah McBeth discusses her vision for the future of FPO (Feminine Professional Organization) and how it can appeal to a broader audience. She shares her thoughts on why scores from Pro tours like Jonesboro are more marketable to non-FPO fans and could help turn them into FPO fans. Hannah draws parallels between the MPO (Men's Professional Organization) and FPO, suggesting that course designers should adjust par levels or "teas" to cater specifically to each division. She also highlights her experience playing in open divisions, where she faces different challenges due to her physical abilities as a female golfer. By considering these factors, Hannah hopes to create a more inclusive and exciting professional tour for women's disc golf.
Watch Hannah McBeth share her path to FPO success & valuable lessons learned through her disc golf journey.

um one final thing i want to talk to you that's not exactly about this year per se but more about the future of fpo is this is an idea that i've kind of thrown around and talked on this podcast several times about and it's about the fpo scoring right okay uh if you look at a tournament like jonesboro uh jonesborough was a great example where the fpo and the mpo scores at the end of the day were very close uh paige was able i think paige's hot round was like 14 under right so my argument was that seeing scores like that are more marketable to non-fpo fans turning them into fpo fans because if i walk up to you because i know the argument the end of the day is par is relevant like it doesn't matter you know i mean a 54 is a 54 period yes and no if i walk up to you and we're both just disc golf fans i watch the jonesboro open coverage you did it and i'm like did you watch paige's round yesterday you're like no what you shoot i'm like one over yeah you're like oh okay and you're probably not gonna go back and watch it even if that was a thousand rated round then if i come to you and i'm like do you see pages around your shirt you're like no what you shoot i'm like 14 down that just sounds like oh my gosh i've got to watch this do you think that that's something that should be taken into account as fpo moves forward where tournament directors course designers should be taking the fpo whether it's you know specializing the teas for them or readjusting the pars if they're playing the same course layout as mpo which is happening some but to a more extreme degree to where the scores are looking very similar between the mpo and the fp winner is that something that should be considered as we move forward i have played some holes on tour that are made for the open division you know the majority of the people playing in the open division are men so you're built differently and your abilities are different than mine um and those are like the the 400-foot water carries you know before you attack a par-4 fairway it's like...
