I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog brought to you by Disc Nation, one nation under par. I'm joined today by Rebecca Hall Duffy, who is your newest PDGA board member, just announced here at the PDGA World Championships, our new board of directors. And uh you made the cut, Rebecca, came in second overall for all the vote getters. How does that feel? It feels really great cuz we had 18 great candidates. And I couldn't believe I came uh second in the points, in the votes, I should say, not the points. That is great. Uh like you said, we had 18 candidates. The other three that were nominated or I'm sorry that were elected included David Felberg, Peter Shive, and Kevin McCoy. Are you familiar with some of those guys and some of course everyone's familiar with Dave Felberg? Um Pete Shive, I've read some of his, you know, discussions on the forum. He has some great ideas and I I hope he gets to implement some of those. And Kevin McCoy, of course, he's a legend. than he used to be. Of course, I know Kevin McCoy, not personally, but I'm sure I'm going to get to know him personally when we spend a long time together. I may or may not gain or lose some followers here, but Kevin McCoy, big shout outs fan. I'm with you there, Kevin. Anyways, so you're here at the World. You're not competing. You usually play at the amateur rank, so you're working your way up. What are you doing at the World? You were kind of wearing a bunch of hats. You're the new board, you know, on the board, but what else are you doing this week? Um, I'm helping the PDGA out with some media stuff. I'm also marshalling. I'll be at the PDG tent a lot of my time. And then I'm going to do some uh some conversations with Disc Golf Planet TV and hopefully you guys will be watching me and you hopefully figure it out. We don't know. But Disc Off Planet TV. Wow. So, you've got a really busy week. You've helped with check-in.
