The Disc Golf Guy - Vlog #74 - 2011 KC Wide Open Gets Underway

The Disc Golf Guy shares an update from the 2011 Kansas City Wide Open, a premier national tour event that's been 29 years in the making. The video is set at Cliff Drive, one of the courses for the tournament, where Avery just shot a hot 47 on a par-59 course. Jack Low, the TD, discusses his experience with the event and shares insights into what makes Kansas City a hotbed for disc golf, featuring numerous great courses and talented players like himself. The video also touches on the importance of partnerships with local parks and W departments to maintain and develop disc golf infrastructure. The Disc Golf Guy reflects on how his decision to run events rather than competing has helped him connect with others and share their passion for disc golf, making Kansas City a must-visit destination for any serious player or enthusiast.

Catch the action from the KC Wide Open tournament featuring top pros like Paul McBeth & Will Schusterick.
