I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog here we are first day of the usdgc and uh I'm joined by I believe is who is one of the co-leaders will shrick how you doing today will good good good so tell everybody what you sho out there today shot of 61 61 that's pretty darn impressive uh how did you attack the course or how did you play the course maybe you didn't even attack it the course was is pretty windy today uh I try not to uh go for too much stuff try to keep it in bounds as much as possible pars were picking up Strokes on people so I just got the birdie work it so how many times have you been here at the usdgc this is my fourth year fourth year and your best previous finish was uh 20th 20th 20th two times in a row okay so uh you know what you're doing here clearly um how old are you I just turned 18 in May okay so how long have you been playing this golf give everybody everybody at home been playing ever since the end of seventh grade so about five years seventh grade ladies and gentlemen which means you were born when 92 92 which is about a year before I picked up my first disc so that's uh that's pretty impressive what are you looking for here at the usdgc I know you want to pick up a win a major would be nice but what else what brings you here that makes this event topnotch I like hanging out with it all hanging out with all my friends you know it's not all about the tournament it's all about you know before and after hanging out with everybody seeing people you haven't seen in years from different countries you know things like that speaking of international travel I ran into earlier this year over in Japan Y what was that experience like for you uh it's definitely the best if anybody can go to the Japan open it's the best tournament to go to I think and which is funny you say that because I've always said the usdgc is the greatest event in the world until you go to Japan because it feels like you get almost everything that we have here at...
