I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog we're out here for day number two at the 2016 Maricopa Meadows open presented by latitude 64 I'm joined by Dave felberg who you saw in yesterday's video blog out here shooting well well enough to even lead the tournament gorgeous day out here yesterday Dave it's tough you know you know what Barry Schultz is what being from your state he always used to tell me running a tournament and playing well in a tournament that's much harder than playing in a tournament and uh you know I've run maybe 20 tournaments only one twice so I had a good day yesterday and it's just exciting to have 135 people come out and play my event it doesn't get much better than this the hospitality has been awesome Javier who you saw in the video yesterday along with Paul and the rest of the crew we had the fire chief out here the mayor out here everybody reporting what's going on here in Maricopa Meadows and I I'm honored to be here now Dave the the players are going to learn of something new and exciting come award ceremony besides all the awesome stuff they've already got what's going on well we working on something this year latitude called latitudes Next Generation tour okay and what the Next Generation tour is is the 12 event tour this is the kickoff event in a tier here in Maricopa the other events are in California Kentucky Florida Texas we're going to be putting out a schedule over the the next two weeks exciting you with the release dates but it's an overall tour for amateurs a tour for amateurs run by professional players so that they can get the same experience that Pros get it's am only and the big surprise is I have a bunch of prizes instead of the usual plastic we give out the winner of the series will get a freeay trip to Europe to play disc golf next summer what yeah that's a big trip I'm going to be the top five will be up eligible possibly for sponsorship opportunities another thing is we're going to give trips away to the local national tour or World Tour if I could work with UC so if you in advance instead of just getting a stack of...
