I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog today I'm joined by Sean Sinclair uh what What's your title exactly with the PDGA Onan all kinds of all kinds of Tricks I'm the head of the disciplinary committee I'm on the rules committee uh this week I am acting as the competition director for the world championship for the M world so he's a jack of all trades and he one of the big things that you do is working with the disciplinary committee and doing some stuff with the rules and when there's infractions or problems or complaints or whatever you kind of help head all that up which can't be a fun job I'm sure today we're going to kind of a special blog mixed in with some tips from the pros where we're going to talk about rules and even some things where people think they're rules but they're really not so let's get some clarifications on those what would you say is the number one rule that's not really a rule or one of the most popular things that you hear probably the one that's come up the most this week has been can I use this that I didn't start with okay so you might be playing uh on a course that's got a bunch of water on it you throw your two favorite drivers in the lake or in the pond you walk up can I go to the car and go get another dick or in our case we had vendors at the course can I go buy another one and use that during the round and the answer is absolutely J and I can be playing it around we could switch this if we want to as long as they're uniquely marked that's all that matters yep any disc turning the round anytime all right so if you're out on the round and you need more disc whether they're in your car or wherever they might be or somebody brings them to you which is even more likely you're more than welcome to use them now remember you can't hold up your group and say hey guys I got to make a 10minute jaunt somewhere and then come back but if you're passing the parking lot in between holes or whatever you got 30 seconds to take your shot...
