this is the steady at memorial disc golf trophy this is given out every year at the Masters Cup the pro weekend of the Masters Cup too it's more of an ambassador award then to the winner of the tournament it has gone to the winner of the determinant and tournament in the past but it's more given out as an ambassador goodwill towards the sport of disc golf someone who has you know exemplified Ed's code of conduct and like developing the sports spreading the good word of the sport whether that be through being a promoter or just a great player ambassador of the sport the first year we gave it away to in 2004 to ken climo followed by Tom shot stansell Johnson des reading Marty happier Michael Travers and Brian Graham Michael snap Conger the entire Jenkins family of Leroy Sharon Avery and Valerie Charlie Meade Merle whippet and then most recently Nate das I've been doing this for a long long time doing disc golfing and ultimate and oh this year I mean this is spectacular we've never had this many people for an award ceremony we've never had this many people in the parking lot buying stuff I mean it is moving we are on the move disc golf is growing so fast it's like and we're making so many mistakes and good things and bad things just stick with us and join every second you have I searched for a long time on what draws us all together and it's it's the game of disc golf it's just simple it's just the game in it and if you're a player if you're a promoter if you're a volunteer if you're just a spectator we're all bonded by this game for all the family we have all different characters in here you might not like everybody anything else but we all are bonded by this game we love we all respect that bond with each other it knew this it had the vision this is a great thing about Ed hedrick he had the vision that that this was going to happen but all these people would just keep getting bonded and bonded and bonded and in his little vial that we read everything I pulled out the best words I could find that it's a really simple sentence we say it every year...
