I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog we are in Maran Ohio for the amateur World Championships 2010 I'm joined by a couple of uh Illinois guys Kenny Glassman as well as diabetic Dave Nelson and uh just a few minutes ago diabetic Dave here took home the 2009 amateur points leader for the PDGA for traveling all over the country playing tons of events Dave let's start with you uh tell us how many events did you play 3129 a. 2 Pro okay so third 31 total yeah okay so 29 amateur um I got to say you being in Illinois me being a Wisconsin TD you came up to a bunch of the uh disc golf guy tournaments how many of those probably four or five at least four or five so hopefully uh you enjoyed coming up uh what what was your greatest experience traveling around the country earning all these points um just getting to play all the cool events like Bowling Green and uh worlds and Am Nationals every year so just meeting different people all over the place and you you you earned a lot of points did you also finish really well at these or was it quantity or was it quality and quantity tell us um there was you know there's struggles you know I I I had some rough tournaments at the end of the year but you know for the most part I you know was finishing in top five doing pretty well yeah and your rating currently is 954 954 so that means uh he's just about ready for that professional level we're also joined here by Kenny Glassman Kenny also comes up to Wisconsin plays a lot of events Kenny uh you traveled around uh last year you're traveling a lot this year here you're at Worlds what are your plans what are your expectations I'm trying to play as many events I can this year uh probably 30 plus events trying to win the points be the 2010 points champion uh right now I've got the lead so uh just trying to have a strong season play as many a tiers as possible that's awesome it's a little bit expensive traveling around playing a tiers playing big events going outside your home area um obviously you're gaining experience is this is this uh...
