I'm the Disc Golf Guy and this is my video blog. We are here back in the studio joined by AJ Rizley, the disc golf boy. Unfortunately, it's about 4:00 a.m. But we're here. Eastern. Oh, Eastern. Yes, that makes it way better. First, Paul McBth. All right, here we go. Paul McBth leader after round one. Shooting a 50 on Thursday. See what he's got. Looks like a star destroyer in his hand. Going for the purple today. It was quite colorcoordinated. Oh yeah. On the opening round. And uh unfortunately I'm not sure that his disc was coordinated with his thought process on that first drive or with the wind. There's a little bit of headwind out there. Got Ricky. Not exactly sure what he's throwing. something latitude I believe. Little low. Yeah. And one thing that you notice on this first hole is if you don't throw it high enough, it seems as if the disc just keeps getting pushed down further and further and further as you throw it. Clearly Ricky has more than enough power to get it over that right pond. But sometimes if you don't get enough air underneath the disc Mhm. it just keeps pushing it straight down off to the left hand side there. Especially with a little bit of headwind, you get the nose down going downhill doesn't help. But uh Paul U throws a pretty nice drive on that left side. And then here we have Dan Hastings from Buffalo, New York. Dan, not necessarily a household name. However, not quite. Shot a very solid round to open up the tournament on Thursday. Yeah, I think he started off the tournament with six birdies in a row or I believe a par and then a lot of birdies. Yeah. Here's Ricky from the drop zone playing a little hiser flip. Not bad. And then this is Paul's shot. He ended up about pinh high with the edge of the pond and he just laces it. T-Ird Anheiser and he actually goes OB on the green. Yeah, quite the shot. Just a little bit too much there for him. Yeah, but still great line. There's Dan with the hiser to the green. Julie with the forehand, but it leaks out just a little too much. I think he ended up OB. And this is Dan from a little over 60...
