I'm here with our executive director of the PDGA Brian Graham Brian we're in downtown Milwaukee tell us what's going on yeah Terry we're here at the National Association of sports commission Symposium here at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee um this is a trade show for the sports tourism industry so it brings together Sports from run the full gamut from disc golf all the way up to some professional sports and we're here to meet with convention and visitors bureaus and sports commissions from around the country we're trying to get us to bring our events to their cities PDGA Majors have become a pretty hot commodity is this the place where they learn all all about how to bid on them that's that's exactly right um we we release our bids through the National Association of sports commission's websites so all the people in this room are members of that Association they're aware of our bids and they typically contact us or make appointments here at this show to meet with me so today we'll be doing one-on-one appointments I've got total of 90 appointments for the entire show probably be doing about 30 one-on-one appointments today with the different cities and it'll run the full gamut from people sitting down with me asking what is is disc golf all the way up to people who have already run Majors or are working with people in their communities to bring in a pdj major my name is l mol I am with the US Sports Congress we're based out of Wisconsin but the US Sports Congress is a national level uh show for sports events rights holders from across the US disc golf has been a great partner of ours through the PDGA and Brian Graham uh as a matter of fact as part of the US Sports Congress Brian came out and conducted a disc golf clinic for our members and what a great way for destinations either cvbs or Sports commissions from across the country to be able to experience uh a round of disc golf firsthand and it's great to help them understand what the sport is about they get to touch it they can feel it and even all of our members walked away with great excitement for the sport when they were through with disc golf people are curious I think more...
