The Disc Golf Guy and Jeremy Coing are excited to be in Monterey, California for the Saint Jude Disc Golf Classic Invitational, a charity event that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for St Jude's life-saving research. The duo shares their enthusiasm for this incredible weekend of disc golf and charity work. They attended a beautiful banquet with notable guests, including Stanil Johnson and Hall of Famer PDJ #009, who reminded everyone of his impressive disc golf career - and, apparently, good looks! Jeremy teases that PDJ #009 says he's also the best-looking disc golfer out there. The team discusses the course, designed by UC Maresma, which is an homage to the sport's pioneers. This challenging 18-hole course is not for beginners, with only a few par-3 holes and many longer holes over 500 feet in length. The course was specifically designed for "bombers," and Jeremy shares his own experience playing the long holes, including those exceeding 800 feet. The Saint Jude Disc Golf Classic Invitational promises to take disc golf to the next level, making it a must-see event for enthusiasts.

I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog we are out here in Monterey California and I'm joined by big germ Jeremy coing big germ we're here for the Saint Jude Disc Golf Classic Invitational Invitational yeah there's a lot of words there but most importantly we're here to raise literally hundreds of thousands of dollars for St Jude and all the amazing research that they're doing quite a weekend for uh disc golf and for St Jude what do you think yeah it's it's awesome um this is uh it's it's aw there's so many things going on right now um we just had a beautiful banquet um great dinner that was supplied um and uh it they had a bunch of people speak stanil Johnson spoke um just Hall of Famer pdj number 009 as he reminded everybody and I think he says he's also the best looking disc golfer I think I've seen that on I didn't catch that I didn't cat that on a t sign he says that okay um but yeah so one of the courses out here is actually named after him the other one's named after um Ed steady Ed and uh so this is a the course is a homage to the people that came before us and made this sport happen and it's uh it's nice because it's actually um an event that might take this golf to the next level so it's uh a lot of really great things going on um I just an absolutely beautiful Golf Course very very tough disc golf course um it's the longest 18 hole course I think I've ever played in my life designed by UC maresma and um I it was not designed for uh your local Woods 270 ft straight thrower this this course is meant for bombers um when when uh we were driving down here we were looking at the course length it was like there's like five holes over 500 ft I'm like oh that's a long course there's six holes over six I'm like wow that's long and then there's eight holes over 800 ft I'm like oh my goodness um but that's how the course is there there's very few par 3s the ones that are out there you feel like you have to get because there's so many holes out there...
