The Disc Golf Guy - Vlog #267 - Product Review of Hyzerbomb's Veteran Fairway Driver

The Disc Golf Guy's product review of Hyzerbomb's Veteran Fairway Driver is a detailed analysis of the disc's performance and features. Joining host The Disc Golf Guy are Heiser Bomb team members Landon Knight for an in-depth look at this relatively new release from Heiser Bomb, one of their molds produced by Millennium Factory. The reviewer shares his thoughts on the Veteran's neutral flight characteristics, noting its similarity to both Eagle and T-Bird discs. He also discusses the disc's solid finish and grip provided by Champion-style plastic, which offers a good balance between hold and glide. With a smaller rim suitable for players with smaller hands or those who struggle with bigger throws, the Veteran is positioned as a fairway driver rather than a driver. The review provides valuable insights for amateur to professional disc golfers looking to understand this new release's capabilities and suitability for their game.

I'm the disc golf guy and this is our product review I'm here with Heiser bomb team member Landon Knight and we're talking about a uh relatively new disc to the market called the veteran Landon give us your breakdown here uh the veteran is is going to fly very similar to an eagle uh it's it's made by it's made by Heiser bomb it's one of our molds uh it comes out the Millennium Factory so you'll see the Millennium powered on the bottom of the stamp uh in my opinion it's it's a pretty neutral disc with a solid finish uh if you throw a right hand backand and hit it kind of flat it'll hold that line for a while and then you'll see a solid finish it won't really Glide out a whole lot like a t- bird but it'll finish smoothly Like an Eagle uh if you were to turn it on a little anheiser out of your hand it'll hold that line for a while and has a real smooth transition back to flat and then a soft Hiser finished again uh once you beat them in uh if you've had them for like at least a couple months and got some wear and tear on it you can hit them hard on the baby hearts and they'll pop it just go dead straight solid finish down to the ground talk a little bit about obviously as you're saying it's more of a fairway disc you just mentioned t- Birds Eagles so it's got a little bit of a smaller Rim here so that's going to be uh great for people with small hands or uh maybe not your biggest throwers in the world uh talk about the plastic that it comes in and how that feels to people this is our champion style plastic it's it's our Recon plastic uh basically it feels almost the exact same uh it's it's got a good grip to it you don't have to worry about slipping out or anything like that uh it and like I said it does beat in slowly so it does take like a month or two before you'll start see some wear and tear all right and now when you're talking about different players that could go out and use this style of disc uh give us that range all the...
