I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog I'm out in Southern California and I am joined by our 1988 PDGA world champion that's been that long uh John ahart John um I came out here to visit to do a little bit of business and have a little bit of pleasure and one of the greatest Pleasures this week was meeting up and playing some golf with you how have you been been great Terry and uh you know if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have had the opportunity to come out and play uh just had that extra bit of incentive to get out here on a beautiful what turned out to be a beautiful December afternoon and um you know there's a few other things that I have going on in my life but uh after taking a break from disc golf for a while uh you know know I think this year I played more in the last 3 or four months than I have in the last 2 or 3 years so um I'm enjoying getting back and feeling the game and uh starting to play again the game you love and the game you dominated early on and the game you're still very involved with on so many levels uh I had the luxury of being able to see a few new courses play in a tournament at Silmar and at vertigo Hills uh got to play both courses at lamara here we played the Lakeside coursed in less than ideal conditions on Thursday but we powered through it along with sha um when you're out here playing laara what are you thinking in terms of the Nostalgia and the stories and everything else that this park means to you well one of the things that I think is uh important at least in my own personal development is um when I first started playing in the very early 8s uh there was just a handful of courses that were in our local area and lamara was definitely one of them Huntington Beach is my home course of course and then we had San Diego and silar and Oak grve um but it was really instrumental because Dan mangoni from discovering the world at the time ran some very big events and just you know being from around here and...
