I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog we are here after the opening round of the 2013 Vim open and a previous champion in Sarah Hokum has joined us Sarah you opened up with a 62 today how did that treat you um it was uh it felt great you know it was a pretty just normal round and I had a couple bogeys and a couple good shots and you know I got off the tea well um recovered on anytime anytime I didn't and just played pretty consistent so no big numbers and you pretty much stayed out of trouble no I mean you know I I I did I did uh take a five on the last hole 18 I went for the green I went OB I feel like that's like right in my wheelhouse it's so that sidearm up there and I threw it a little long um I think uh I'm still going to go for that one again I was just going to say did you learn anything by this or are we going to see that same aggressive play in the next three days you know I mean maybe on the last round if I you know if there's a strategic reason to not go for the green I might not but at this point I'm pretty sure that's going to be on the green for the next three rounds so everybody is here because they love playing not only the course but there's so many things going on here and they're going to be seeing footage of it there's poker there's pie eating contest accuracy how do you fit it all in while you're here this week is there one thing that you go after that you really enjoy besides the golf um I just try to enjoy the overall experience um get to know the people around here and then just Joy enjoy the family atmosphere that we get here you know I mean all the games are fun and I do participate here and there which is always fun too I almost died in the pie eating contest one oh okay remember um but you know poker tonight and all of the fun contests are really cool so one of your biggest supporters and travel Mates is Don Smith uh is not playing this week...
