We're back and I'm joined by your twotime women's world champion, Paige Pierce. Paige, you won it on the last hole. Yep. tell everyone how you dig deep down and you go out and put a drive there to win it on the last hole. Um, I actually knew that that last hole I was confident that I would have at least have a putt for a two. Um, so I knew just coming down the last few holes, they're pretty tight. Wanted to, you know, I just wanted to give myself a pars on those holes and just get to that last hole. I knew I could get a stroke back on that hole. So when I got to that hole tied, I knew if I just threw a good shot, I could come out. You played more than a hundred holes of golf this week and I don't think you had the outright lead until the very last hole. Yeah, probably the one that counts, right? Yeah, I think yeah, after the rounds we were always tied or I was down one or something like that. I had the lead for a few holes uh yesterday and then struggled took a five followed by a seven and Val came back on top and uh yeah I didn't get the lead again until the final nine somewhere the which is awesome. Is there anything you need to say? I mean you won the World Championships just a couple years ago. What's it feel like to to win a second time? Um well last time I won it was my first time so that one kind of means more than this. Um maybe not more but sure it's a different feeling right it is it is and uh it's it's like a reassurance re reassurance or a confirmation either one and uh you know winning two years ago and then last year um I was injured and I couldn't overcome it and uh it's been kind of messing with me mentally since so it's good to have this reassurance and uh you know I look forward to next year and every tournament in between then.
