I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog we have the honor to catch up with a recent national tour winner Liz car Liz tell us a little bit about this week I know you didn't start out in the lead the first day walk us through what happened oh well I think it was very punishing I've never seen these courses before so it was a challenge just there's a ton of OB that you can find and I found a lot of it um in the beginning you know my practice rounds I think I threw five of my goto drivers in the water so a lot of those first rounds I was just getting to know these new frisbees that I had to replace them with well as we know when you when you throw plastic out into the water at Fountain nine times out of 10 you're not getting that back and if you are you don't want to touch it were you losing them out at Fountain or were you losing them here at Vista I'd say I shared both courses spread out evenly nice of you very nice someone today came and ran out and brought me back my favorite disc so I was happy to have that by whole four today and it was like a breath of fresh air I was like oh yes a frisbee that I can work with nice so you were you were down a couple Strokes going into today's round yes and who are you down to Dez Dez reading and you just got done saying a few minutes ago Dez is one of your Idols what is that like to I don't want to say take down your Idol but you've uh looked up to her and now here you are competing and actually beating her this weekend what's that like oh it's great I mean I wouldn't change it for anything but um it was a real challenge she's a really incredible player you know both on and off the course um but she's also very encouraging and you know she wants to see me do good and I want to see her do good so we were able we battled a little bit in the uh first couple holes but um I I got the edge and then maintained through the...
