The Disc Golf Guy - Vlog #128 - Final Practice Day Before the 2012 USDGC
The Disc Golf Guy shares his final practice day insights before competing in the 2012 USDGC. On Wednesday's practice day, professional disc golfers like Dana Vichy and Matty O share their strategies for navigating hole 17, a challenging 200-foot shot requiring precision. The conversation also touches on the new bunker rule, which has made it easier to go for aggressive shots. Veteran players offer advice to newcomers like Cameron Col Glazer, urging them to play within their strengths. The group discusses their goals and expectations for the tournament, with Matty O aiming to shoot under 55. Cam Todd, a 2001 World Champion, shares his approach, emphasizing the importance of being aggressive while also considering penalties. With its mix of strategy, player insights, and tournament prep, this video provides valuable content for disc golf enthusiasts looking for tips on how to navigate the course and succeed at the USDGC.
