I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog brought to you by Skyline disc golf as well as vium disc golf we are here with your 2009 vium open Champion also a world champion in 20 9 pretty darn good year that's one Avery Jenkins Avery how you doing today doing awesome thanks well we're here and as you've tweeted and thousands and hundreds of others have posted this is one of the greatest events of the Year tell everyone at home what they're missing this is uh this is first off the national tour finale the final everything that we played for all the national tours that we played for come down to this very final event and uh you know it's a whole point series and it comes down to this very final event for point totals and the national tour Champion so beyond that incredible course good mix of open to wooded uh big long par fors huge shots over lakes and you're in the woods for some long tunnel shots it's just got everything you'd really need sidearms back hands great approaches you got to be a good putter out here to win this thing and uh it's an awesome course Awesome event with the side games almost too much to talk about but this is a great great tournament well you're going to be seeing action all week long as I'm going to try to bring you as many blog Vlogs and interviews as we can and what you've been seeing for the last few minutes here is watching one of the side games Avery was just talking about there was a dnamic disc skills challenge where uh various teams were throwing from different spots to try and not only approach to 18 but put on 18 as well as Drive within a specific area on 18 and all week long there's a ton of different games there's accuracy putting contest you name it uh poker pingpong pie eating of course all right so uh Avery you're clearly known as one of the longest throwers in the game and everybody I I know you're probably hounded with the question but everybody wants to know how do you hold a disc when you're throwing a sidearm shot you have a very big backhand shot but you also have a really unique and a...
