I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog we are here here at the 2012 PDGA World Championships and I'm joined by our distance Champion big germ Jeremy coing big germ you throw far I guess you could say once in a while yeah once in a while so tell everyone at home uh what your distance your winning distance shot was yesterday well yesterday I threw 693 ft with an X nuke uh backand not sidearm a lot of people think that all I throw was sidearm it was a backhand um it's about 10 to 15 ft of elevation and uh and 45 mph wind yeah 45 M Tailwind or headwind actually it was just a light Breeze it was it was really calm uh it didn't it changed headwind Tailwind pretty much all day long but not much more than a couple miles an hour it was real inconsequential for the most part well we've seen a lot of footage of here at the Players meeting it just wrapped up a few minutes ago 13,400 disc golf enthusiasts the largest collection of players ever at a tournament and it's in your backyard that's got to feel good it feels amazing it's really exciting right now uh I've known about world's coming here in 2012 since 2008 and just we've all been excited can't couldn't wait it's it's even it's hard for me to even like realize it's going on right now cuz I've been looking forward forward to it for so long so um we're all excited I'm really excited and I can't wait to get started all right well as we saw we've got 13 different countries represented here and uh it's truly going to be a World's experience this is my 17th worlds in a row and uh I don't throw as far as big germ but I'm going to be out here having at least as much fun as this guy so best of luck to you this week buddy thank you ter all right I'm the golf guy this guy big germ he throws far and we'll catch you guys tomorrow
