I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog brought to you by Sandy Point Resort and disc golf Ranch I am joined today by Mike cousins and we have just completed the 2012 Sandy Point team Invitational it's been needless to say one of the greatest weekends of the Year already Mike uh we just wrapped up the event tell us kind of what went down well uh we had uh eight teams from uh all around the Midwest and um we had uh seven matches of a really fine 12 hole disc golf and uh a team from Fox Valley area of Wisconson which is the applon area and the team from Minnesota came out uh into the final and and Fox Valley uh ended up winning the team tournament in a squeaker in a squeaker uh it this has been a Memorial Day tradition from well we'll say yester year uh we've got we're right behind the American flag Hole uh very iconic hole number 25 before you go and play the two lak holes which you've seen some footage of um it took quite a few years to bring this event back Mike it's been an awesome format uh what do you think on how it all went went down I thought it went down great we were really lucky to have a bunch of really cool people coming up from again all around the Midwest and uh you know I really thought that uh it went off really well it had a 9-year High atus and we decided to bring it back this year and everything worked out just great I'm super happy with all the with all the support we had well I'm only 33 and I think this is probably about the 17th or 18th year I've actually been up here to visit Sandy Point today I was fortunate enough to get an ace during my match play which was pretty sweet thank you uh I don't get a lot of Aces so we got to get it on uh mention it out there this has been fun uh I was very proud of my team the greater Milwaukee Alliance we just got squeaked out this morning however congratulations definitely goes out to Minnesota your Runners up and then Fox Valley Area pinh High K cry uh leading the troops and...
