Welcome to the Disc Golf Guys video blog. I'm your host, Terry Miller. In each blog, we're going to cover a variety of topics that might range from disc technology to websites to courses to events, whatever it might be, we're looking to cover it because it's disc golf related. First thing we're going to touch on today is the world of eBay. Many of you know that eBay can be a great place not just to find regular product, but also specifically disc golf product. Sometimes the latest and greatest disc can only be found out on eBay. Or sometimes you'll find that hidden gem of somebody's old or used or beat up disc that they might be selling for far under regular price just because they're looking to unload it. Either way, there's definitely plenty of treasures out there for you to find. Two of the hottest things that we have going on right now on eBay are the katana. And by that I mean both star katanas and also champion katanas. We were fortunate enough to get our hands on a couple of the champion sparkle katanas of which there were only 19 produced. They have been pretty hot items because well as I said there were only 19 of them. The champion katana was so popular after the first run that Hero Disc decided to do a second run of them. This is all as a fundraiser for the Japan Open in 2010. For what it's worth, editorial note, the Japan Open is a pretty phenomenal event. I did attend two years ago and it was the greatest disc golf experience ever. Anyway, on to the other hot item, which is the Star Katana. The Star Katana, as you see here, actually is a fundraiser for the PDGA Pro Worlds, which is held in Crown Point, Indiana later this year. The reason why they do that is Inova actually puts together one of the latest and greatest discs and then offers it as a fundraising opportunity for the event.
