Hello everyone and welcome back for another edition of Getting to Know Your PDGA Global Board of Director Candidates. I've got standard questions all put together for all of our candidates. And today I'm going to welcome in Laura Knoxal, uh PDJ number 44969. Laura, thank you for joining. And we're going to get to the easiest question of them all, which is please go ahead and introduce yourself. Hi Terry, thank you for having me and thank you listeners for listening to me. I'm Lola. I've started playing disc golf in 2010 because I asked my sister if I could come watch. She gave me a putter that's still my main putter and the rest is history. I've been a board member basically since 2015 with two-year hiatus. I've been PDJ Europe interr administrator for two years, PDJ Europe tour manager for four years and I'm running for I think it's my fifth term at the PDJ global board of directors and my spare time I'm actually um working in the live music industry and I've been doing this for 30 years now. Thank you. And I was just going to make one uh additional note. you are one of a very few uh international candidates. Can you tell everyone uh where where you're located or what you call your residency? Yes, I am. Uh I'm based in the Netherlands. The city I live in is another one of the flammy sounding ones and I was indeed the first non-N North American board member. I want to give credit to Ela King for being the first non US-based one, but I'm the first non-N North American one and right now joined on the board since last year by Ted. Well, we know that Ela King is certainly uh blazed the trail in many ways. So, uh awesome to see. Well, let's get right to it. And the very first one that I really have for you is why are you running for the global board of directors and what will your priorities be? Uh, I'm running again. Um, like I said, this is I believe my fifth term and um I still think my work isn't done and my three main pillars are um making disc golf better for more people, more enjoyable for them to be on the fairway. uh globalization is a big key component of that....
