2026 Memorial Championship Coverage Update and Plan

The Disc Golf Guy is back with an update on his coverage of the 2026 Memorial Championship. Currently in Asia, he's been sharing content from the first few events, but there's a twist - the event has been moved up by a month and construction is underway at Vista Del Camino. This change affects Spinners on the Green, who are likely stressed about the impact on resources and coverage. Despite the challenges, The Disc Golf Guy assures fans that some level of coverage will be provided, although it won't be as extensive as in previous years due to limited resources. He's been stretched thin for several years with multiple cards, divisions, and daily updates, but this year's event will require a different approach. Thankfully, sponsors have stepped up to help make some coverage possible, ensuring that fans still get a glimpse into the action.

I'm the Disc Golf Guy and this is my video blog coverage update. First of all, as many of you already know, I'm currently in Asia. I've been here for a few weeks and it's been really exciting and hopefully you've been able to consume some of the content that's come out from the first few events. In the next day or so, you're going to see additional content come out from the third stop that just took place. What that also means is I'm not in Arizona. Yeah, I'm definitely not there. They've moved the event up an entire month and we've seen a lot of construction and things taking place over at Vista Del Camino. The peeps over at Spinners on the Green have been uh I'm going to say probably stressed to the max in terms of everything that this means for the resources, not only for their event, but also overall for the coverage that we're going to provide. Speaking of which, there will be coverage. The memorial still will get covered just in a slightly different and lesser capacity. We've been incredibly stretched over these last few years with limited resources. This year that limitation has been ramped up just a little bit or actually significantly. So, we're going to do the best that we can. Please let the entire world know, as disappointing as it may sound, coverage will be out about a week later. It will not be next day. I cannot stress that enough. It will not be coming out the very next day. The last few years, we've been doing multiple cards, multiple divisions, uh, day in and day out, every single uh, day that we can for the four rounds. This year, it just simply isn't going to happen. In fact, the main reason the coverage is happening is thanks to any and all of the sponsors that you see within the coverage when it gets released. I can't say enough about everyone that stepped up so that we could still have some coverage. Certainly was in threat of not being able to cover the event whatsoever. Thankfully, we've had a few people step up and if you're interested in supporting it, you can still do so because I've got another week or so before it fully gets edited. So, big thanks to my friends Dustin and Spicy Boy who...
