Hello everyone and welcome to the championship round of the 2025 Rocky Mountain Women's Disc Golf Championship presented by Disc Mania. I'm [music] Sandra Richardson and joining me is our amazing tournament director >> Alli Lance. >> We got our final round. We got Sammy Joe Guerrero, got myself, Amy Vaina, and our friend Erica [music] Weir. We're lucky to be out here for round three at Purple Park in Superior, Colorado. [music] Getting all the good vibes, the caddy love going. I was fortunate enough that my parents joined me for round three, too. That was pretty special. >> Love that. So, we're out here with coverage for round three. Thank you again to Terry Miller, the disc golf guy. We're looking at an overview of hole one, 250 foot par three. This is a brand new design for this year. So, this is a new hole one. Nice straight shot, fairly open fairway. Couple small trees. Let's get it going. >> Great, great start from Sammy Joe. >> Sammy Joe starting the round with a two-stroke lead. I'm not going to lie, I was so nervous to get started on this round. >> Something about that final round. >> Yeah, the final round jitters. Then I just had to tell myself, I'm just out here with my friends. >> That's right. >> That's what we're doing. >> Playing at Purple Park. This is the only opportunity we get to play disc golf at Purple Park in Superior, Colorado. >> Yeah. This being a temporary course that only goes in for this tournament, it's a really I mean really a special treat for us. Great shot. Erica leaning on that Valkyrie. Oh. >> Oh, unfortunate spit out for Amy. >> There it is. >> Go, Birdie. Looks like you girls had that basket surrounded. >> Yeah, you guys are good. Go for it. [laughter] >> Trying to get those jitters out. You just sing it out, right? >> That's right. like the secondary commentary. [laughter] >> Oh yes, always. I'm I'm quite known for that. Sometimes I have to remind myself to uh pipe down a little. >> I just try to bring the the good vibes. >> I think that's really important, especially at a ladies event like this where the other divisions are looking to you pros to kind of set the tone.
