I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog. I'm joined by our tournament director of the Rocky Mountain Women's Disc Golf Championship in Ali Lance. And Ally, first of all, thank you for taking on the effort. This is such a an incredible event and monumental in so many ways, but uh how crazy are you? >> I mean, I have to be crazy to take it on, right? >> Uh this weekend we're going to have three rounds of golf ultimately for most of our players. two rounds of golf for some of the others. But uh what are you most looking forward to? >> I'm most looking forward to all of the players out on the course walking around and having a good time. >> And when it comes to having a women's only event, obviously we know kind of what drives that, but what was it that made you say, "Hey, I'm ready to take on as a tournament director of such a huge women's event." I've always had a passion for running events for the women and creating a space for women to play disc golf together. I started the Boulder Ladies Disc Golf Club in 2017. Last year, I ran one of I ran the fifth largest WG in the world. We had 72 ladies out at Valmont in Boulder, Colorado. And when Ray presented me with the opportunity to take over Rocky Mountain Women's, I was all for it and ready to take on the challenge. >> Well, so far everything's been amazing. We're going to have three rounds of coverage when it's all said and done. Hopefully the weather cooperates. It's not going to be nearly as hot throughout the weekend. Let's hope the rain stays away. And stay right here at the Disc Golf Guy channel for all the action. For Ally, I'm the Disc Golf Guy and I'll find you guys in the fairway.
