hello everyone and welcome to the 2024 Mary Sunshine House classic it's PDG a tier taking place at the okone national Disc Golf Complex what a card we've got Gavin wrath buun along with Evan Smith Florida's own double G and rounding us out is kale Leisa coming down from Minnesota as he's taking in some South Carolina action it's the first of three rounds that will be playing out here on the property and if you saw round one last year you'll see well things continue to evolve out here and we're going to see some similar holes to what we saw in 2023 but also plenty of new ones the work is happening week in and week out whole one 375 ft very straightforward and believe it or not this is one of the more open holes that we'll find on the course that one turns over quickly for Gavin he gets about pin high but not quite the line he needed of course hitting the initial upright is your top concern Evan Smith out of Raleigh Evan also coming in with the highest rating in the entire field at 1040 right down the middle for double g no putting required coming up for girthy kale playing the course blind in fact he said he had to get a turo in the morning to make about a 4 and a half or 5 hour trip from where him and the rest of the family are and uh came over and is taking a look at this course for the first time we'll see what you guys think of that as this round moves on a a bold move coming from kale and the birdie attempt comes up short Evan first a strike he's going to pick up the birdie on hle one I'm to be careful today yeah we kale saying he's got to make sure that he's careful considering they're both throwing white Putters and you certainly don't want to putter tap in from somebody El someone else's lie that's going to be a penalty we had to hold number two 450 ft you really have to make a decision do you want to go with the water carry as you're seeing here and go all the way over or do you want to lay up and simply play this one for the par I think we're...
