hello everyone and welcome to the 2024 Maricopa open presented by infinite disc we're at the Hidden Valley disc golf course a temporary course for this year's action what a card Anthony Bella along with Andrew mared we also have Jacob Curtis AKA cupcake and rounding out the card Owen bear I'm going to switch things up I'm giving you all 18 holes here in this video let me know if you like that I'm excited to see what's going on out here we've seen this event played at a number of courses throughout the last 11 years now we're going all temp course and uh I think we're going to see some good scores that's assuming the weather conditions stay as they are now absolutely beautiful out here AB with the 300t straight ahead shot Andrew mared comes in with a 10 30 rating and just the week before withdrew from the Shelly sharp as many of you watch that coverage had a really uncharacteristic or unbe experienced back spasm and some struggles there and ultimately had to withdraw after the eighth hole of competition cupcake Jacob Curtis going to get it out of the way right off the bat trimmed every single putt cuz I know you're wondering oh and bear comes out of Tempe Arizona 997 rating and we're playing to an elevated basket on this very first hole as you can see pretty straightforward a lot of the holes I feel like are going to be pretty straightforward throughout we'll see what the wind and any other weather conditions can maybe do to change that up for the weekend but this is a temporary course and this very first one features the elevated basket obviously a little bit of a drop off cliff so to speak mared for birdie and off the top and as many of know when you're going after an elevated pin such as this you miss there's a lot of places it could go or it could carry a long way when you're putting at it and ab is going to start out with a birdie to get things going there a gorgeous Friday afternoon late January Curtis in for par oh no Owen after closest to the pin maybe a little early round nerves here he's going to have to walk away with the par of course our presenting sponsor in...
