2024 Chain Hawk Open XIII • R1B9 • Garrett Gurthie • Gavin Rathbun • Noah Meintsma • Hjalmar Fredrik

The 2024 Chain Hawk Open XIII is underway at Northside Park in Gainesville, Florida, where some of the world's top players are competing for the coveted title. The back half of Round 1 features a stacked field, including Double G (Garrett Gurthie), Gavin Rathbun, Ymar Fredrikson, and Noah Meintsma. As the players navigate the challenging course, strategy and technique come into play. The must-get Birdie at Hole #10 is a prime example, with Ymar Fredrikson already racking up four birdies in his first three holes. Meanwhile, Garrett Gurthie pulls off an unexpected shot on the same hole, opting for a lofted approach that pays off. The 11th hole presents another obstacle, with its 416-foot stretch and tight fairway requiring precision to navigate. With the threat of OB Creek looming, players must carefully balance risk and reward. Watch as these top pros put their skills to the test in this thrilling round of the Chain Hawk Open XIII.
