hello everyone and welcome in we're here for the 2023 throw down the mountain 11 presented by Discraft and Sun King diss Terry Miller the disc golf guy alongside Nate Perkins we've got this incredible feature card Paul Macbeth Johnny McRae Mr Nate Perkins himself and Florida's own Charlie Goodpasture Nate about a year ago almost to the day you and I were doing the same thing so welcome back buddy yeah Throwdown has become one of my favorite tournaments of the Year honestly we are at a very special property about an hour north of Tampa Bay there is an Old Quarry that they've turned into a gem of a disc golf course and here we are hole one 316 place closer to 350 I would say a bit of a low ceiling off the tee headed up the hill and you don't want to go too deep or too right pretty steep drop off and of course the big news coming in in just these last few days Paul Macbeth co-owner now of the property along with Dylan cease and we got to give a shout out to Dylan a Thursday night before this tournament uh Dylan started on the mound for the Chicago White Sox and pitched six and a third Innings with 10 strikeouts and then the first thing he asked Macbeth is hey when can we watch that coverage from Throwdown so uh really cool that we've got a you know one of the ace pitchers in the majors uh getting into disc golf enough to purchase this course with Paul and I think we're going to be seeing a bit more of this course in the future certainly are I know Florida and the rest of the country are excited about it this man of course Johnny McRae who's played here quite a few times I've recorded him winning on this property here at Throwdown number of years ago right before he went on tour full time saw Charlie Good pasture a moment ago Johnny taking the anhyzer okay that disc has been in his bag now for eight years Terry eight years he's been throwing that exact same flag died mid I I feel like that's the same one that we saw him Ace with at the Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship in Jacksonville uh over at New World a few years ago...
