hello everyone and welcome to Tallahassee we're here for the 2023 18th open at Tallahassee sponsored by visit Tallahassee whole lot of Tallahassee going on I'm Terry Miller the disc golf guy joined alongside Silas Schultz feels about a year ago buddy you joined me and welcome back thanks it's great to be back I'm so happy to be here we are gonna take in round ones front nine action here at this PDGA tier and let's just say it Tallahassee is rolling out the red carpet for everyone here this weekend yeah absolutely I played this this is a silver Series last year and the course looked fantastic and playing it again this year it looks as good or even better here we are on hole number one 355 feet I'll let you handle most of the whole previews here if there's anything specific that we have to worry about on one yeah I mean there's OB along the left and the right and long so especially with a little bit of wind which I think these guys are going to be dealing with it's just important to keep it in bounds and give yourself a putt a lot of shots especially in this cross and backhand shots are gonna try to go be left and you'll end up by this tree which will give you a low ceiling putt so Charlie Goodpasture to lead things off he likes the shot out of his hand and well everybody else did but he didn't realize till later that it actually just barely skipped out of bounds yeah that looked so good I mean it's the ground play is another thing uh forehand is really good you just have a ceiling to work with Alpha T but that is just perfect by Matt third T will be Casey white not his first time here at Tom Brown I've heard him talk about a few other events that he's participated in here let's see this is this is good I mean yeah keeping it low is really the key with the forehand here you have those branches off the tee and then just the ground play so yeah well executed there of course Mr Florida himself Johnny McRae the living legend and that's a little bit of the win that you speak of it's been pretty calm in the morning and now...
