2022 Memorial Championship • R3B9 • Kristin Tattar • Eveliina Salonen • Henna Blomroos • Jen Allen

The 2022 Memorial Championship presented by Disc Craft is on the back nine of the Vista del Camino course, where score separation is becoming more apparent after a tight third round. Kristin Tattar and Eveliina Salonen are leading the charge, but Henna Blomroos, Jen Allen, and others will need to regroup and refocus to make a comeback. The tight fairways on this course demand precision and strategy from players, particularly on holes like 10, a challenging par-4 at 651 feet. The left and right sides of the fairway feature obstacles that can easily be avoided with a well-placed shot. Kristin Tattar's safe approach to this hole is a contrast to Henna Blomroos' earlier struggles with distractions, which led to an impressive comeback. The importance of wind direction and fairway placement will be crucial in determining the winners on this course, where players must navigate tight spaces and avoid obstacles to achieve success.

hello everyone and welcome to the 2022 memorial championship presented by disc craft we're on the third round this is the back nine at the vista del camino course and well a moment ago things were really tight and now we're seeing a little bit of score separation everyone's had their version of a struggle at some point or another yeah moving on to the back nine with hole 10 it's a par 4 at 651 feet and this one is probably one of the tightest fairways that we'll experience today there's obi on the left and the right side players want to get down as far as they can off the tee so they have an easy approach but as always easier said than done we saw hannah blomrose overcome some distraction earlier and it seems she's gonna have to do the same here that's a great shot yeah and on this hole i feel like if you throw it straight and it just fades gently to the left you're probably going to have a straight to left fading shot on the second shot so although it bends from left to right throughout the entire duration of the hole if you go left center fairway that's gonna set up for a righty backhand shot hugging it tight to the right is what i'm trying to say doesn't really do you a lot of good unless you're trying to go with a forehand approach kristen is gonna be safe and in bounds but that's a misplay that we've seen time and time again on this round and i think it must be because one of her discs is still in fountain in the fountain at fountain hills wow my mom's an english major so that's embarrassing does she listen to you i'm sure i'll get a text hi mom all right here is tatar throwing her second shot i like this play a lot better for kristen's game but now i see why she kind of shied away from it that wind is ripping and it is not allowing her disc to have that similar flight pattern as we've seen in previous holes where it just finishes right that hung out for a long time and this is what i was saying about the left center side of the fairway just the fact that you can throw a low straight...
