hello everyone and welcome to the second and final round of the 2022 bay county kickoff presented by ascendant disc golf we're at the monster at majette disc golf course and our leader matt aurum with a blistering 16 under jumped out in front and i'm joined again by dustin murray and dustin you shoot a 16 under what room does that leave for anyone and even for improving your score at that point yeah not too much just a couple of strokes off perfect and honestly one missed putt i mean he was right there at 17 under as well so just a couple of mishaps but looks dominant with the new bag and looking to keep that momentum rolling into hole number one which is right at that distance for a par 4 where you don't have to bite off too much off the tee i feel like a lot of our players are looking for placement shots obviously this water carry if you tried to go for it was very scary green's very tight so you have to be careful on that approach shot and from what you were telling me apparently the weather has really picked up for this round yeah i remember i was actually in arizona filming another event well this was happening and my good friend dustin skorpinsky was out there and he called me and he's like hey what happens if it rains out here because something's coming into town i'm like ah it's not supposed to rain there well it's raining birdies for this guy matt aurum starting off right up the middle on hole number one and you know you've talked about it there's a number of par fours out here that it really feels like find that right spot you know don't try and bite off too much and then just hopefully get up and down and look take a a good look at a birdie yeah matt attacked the hole with the believe his eback truth and i imagine some mids or fairway drivers are probably the choice for most these players to get in good position obviously though with the wind you're probably having to change up a little bit of your stability just to make sure that you fight through all of it but that's the one thing you can't do is hit one of those...
