hello everyone and welcome to the first round of the 2022 bay county kickoff presented by ascendant disc golf we're out here in panama city florida and joined by dustin murray and dustin big news this weekend we've got maddio in a brand new sponsorship bag should we be that excited about it we should be man i i can tell you i've been playing some practice rounds with them over here and he is excited and i could just tell that he's ready to go well he's been on the tour on and off throughout the last couple of decades we're of course looking forward to 2022 and we're going to start things off here at the monster in the jet 498 feet on hole one a little par four action to get started yeah one of those ones where there is a little bit of a gap to hit and you got that water on the left side and with it being this distance i feel like a lot of players can just play for placement it is a tight green though i will say that uh definitely a lot of ob around there well we'll see at just 498 like you said a placement shot three 350 maybe a little bit more than that play out over the water and you're hopefully collecting a birdie to get things started beautiful calm wonderful looking conditions out here in panama city on the morning's early round and this is matt oram throwing his pink emac truth just throwing it for placement looks like a little bit of dew kicking up there uh here in this early morning round and pdga number 200 yes folks two zero zero that's neil dambra oh it's caught up in that bush that might be a tricky approach shot for him as we're gonna see lucas hughes step up to the plate delivers what looks to be a pretty clean drive good placement as well a little bit low from ryan best and now going with the forehand not much power on it uh again as you said just playing for that placement that's caleb skinner again it's one of those distances where if you're just playing for birdie there's really no need to go for too much off the tee just make sure you stay away from trouble give yourself a clean approach...
