hello everyone and welcome to the 2021 shelley sharp memorial presented by spinners on the green this pdga a tier moves into its second day as it is a beautiful saturday january 16 2021 and i've got gary to the o with me and we're checking out hole number one at the vista del camino xl layout we're missing a mando here during the uh official pete ulabari preview gary to the o but let's hope nobody misses the mando during the round yeah you'd think it'd be pretty easy to not miss the mando it's like 50 feet off the off the t but we've seen plenty of people do it i don't think any of these guys are i mean their lead card lead car guys don't miss demando let's hope not uh drew gibson opened the tournament with a nine under we see both garrett and uh levi shooting eight and seven respectively and then anthony barella birdied the last few holes to get to seven under and put himself on this lead card he made the mando but i don't know you you'd also don't want to do that looks like he pulled it a little bit to the right kicks out into the open on the left side that's luck that's yeah that we're busting out the l word he just got lucky there he did get through the mando so he won't be penalized maybe a little bit of nerves or jitters here during the first hole not quite the gallery we're used to seeing out here of course due to covid but barela for the second day in a row throws it too low you know you really kind of expect more out of these guys i mean they're not they're not putting putting uh down the fairway i mean they're making the mando but i feel like there's more to that to this hole all right goodnight everyone that's the end of the coverage uh no just a little bit of a rocky start here i guarantee i think we're going to see things pick up and that's a great approach you know of course you want to open with the birdie however you don't want to do anything too silly here that's going to give you an unnecessary bogey at the same time you don't need to be a hero no...
