hello everyone and welcome to the 2021 phoenix ladies open hey miller the disc golf guy joined by jamie spencer and we're out here for the front half of the final round we're at the shelly sharp course located at vista del camino park and we are ready to go with the fpo action and own scoggins she's your leader after the first round and she's at 10 under and jamie same course 20 holes excited to see how this is going to shake out here yeah i actually didn't get to see any of this so i'm actually really excited to be part of this right now because this is my first time seeing any of the rounds so i can't wait to see this well you guys were working so hard throughout the weekend and of course this is a year-long effort really that you guys have to put together to have this tremendous event we're seeing colin hanley who's starts two back of own with a big drive on hole one for allen opting to go the righty heiser route maybe trying to play a low shot as opposed to the turnovers elevated basket right out of the gate who how did the conversation come about for where you guys were going to elevate or not on some of the holes out here jamie some of the difficulty we wanted to apply uh we felt like there's a little bit of a shorter shot we're like let's go ahead and just throw an elevated basket in there just to make a little more challenging because we did want to make this north course more of a challenging course for them because we've always had the pilo have very very short holes but if we wanted to provide the experience to our pros advance and our rec and juniors we wanted to make sure that we had something that was enjoyable for all so we had two courses this year and this was your pro and advanced intermediate side we see jill norwick for the first time she's a maricopa resident and has just come into the scene in the last couple of years owns first attempt at birdie just a bit high uh beautiful day uh temps are actually unseasonably warm in the mid mid to high 80s is that right yes it was i don't even...
