2021 Huk Central • Rnd 1 • Back 9 • Chris Dickerson • David Diehl • Matt Splain • Ross Marshall
Tune in to 2021 Huk Central, presented by Southern Wesleyan University, as Terry Miller and the Disc Golf Guy navigate the Freightline course for Round 1 of their back nine matchup. The duo is joined by Matt Splain, Ross Marshall, David Diehl, and Chris Dickerson, who face a challenging hole number 11 - actually a reworked version of a different course layout. The group discusses the importance of placement, playing to the "mouth" for optimal shot selection, and the risks of pushing too hard with an aggressive first throw. Ross's impressive drive through a nearby tree is highlighted as a crucial factor in their strategy. As Matt attempts to skip the disc into position, the team analyzes the pin's subtle slope and the need for precision to avoid over- or under-shooting. With Chris facing an uphill battle to reach the basket, the group provides expert advice on how to manage risk and capitalize on opportunities in this critical round-one showdown.

hello everyone and welcome to the 2021 huck central presented by southern wesleyan university we're here for the back nine of round number one we're on the freightline course and again it's just myself terry miller and the disc golf guy i guess that makes two or three of us me myself and i we're heading over to hole number 11 of the freightline layout spoiler alert this is actually a hole two of the loco layout which we'll see on sunday i had to pause there and make sure i knew what i was talking about there might be a lot of long pauses if that's gonna be the reason but here we are we got matt splain and this is just all about placement you're playing to the mouth so that you can then throw down the tunnel if you want to get really aggressive you can try and penetrate and get into the tunnel off of your first shot i just feel like you can bring in so many more factors and then also punish yourself immediately by getting out of position a moment ago that was ross here's david and last to t in the group will be chris looks like a good position to be in oh maybe even a little too much as you can see he's gonna have to actually reach out so if he would have been about 10 maybe 15 feet short of where he landed he would have then been in prime position he can still work this possibly down but no you see a little too much turn on it catches the left side it does kick him back toward the fairway but from there at best he's looking at getting up and down trying to take the par oh and i love i love where matt or correction where ross was feed that tree well you beat it all right unfortunately i think you meant to to get around it let's see if matt can possibly play the skip just seems like everything pulls it over to that right hand side now you can see the pin just on the top of your frame it drops down behind the basket not immediately like right off the edge of a clip but it definitely has a a pretty significant down slope so you have to be careful in running...
