hello everyone and welcome to the 2020 Samui swine classic 7 presented by in of a champion disc we're here for round number one the front half Terry Millard the disc golf guy alongside well or should I say remotely I'm with Sara hokum our 2012 world champion Sara hole number one kind of short but what are we doing here this is probably give me a putter shot 144 feet and most players going through a standstill trying to miss that small palm and land really close to the basket see page Pierce up first and the little excitement here it looks like just a few feet past the pin technically this is Paige Pierce's first we'll say return to her sponsor and disc craft yeah it's an exciting time to see how she's gonna respond to all the new plastic Breanna a little excited she's a she's out here and she'd been here in Thailand for several weeks and this was the first competitive round and turn it over a little into the ground there's a huge ordeal the tie the tie superstar throwing a great shot getting a little local love from that palm leaf and you are just off the front of the basket now although it's only 144 feet there's still some nerves with that triple mando because you feel like a par here is really almost feels like a bogey right absolutely and just starting the round off on something that's so technical and also really short it took a lot of touch which I did not have on my tee shot it's very tentative and got about halfway there but you know it's just the first hole there's a lot of golf to play and a lot of holes the birdies yeah and we're looking at a total of 66 holes to be played we're talking about 22 holes per round so like you said plenty of golf Johnny rumbles our sponsor of hole number two here 279 feet very technical there's a mando to the left players are going to throw a straight to turning shot trying to snuggle up in there with that big ole term eighth term I found on the left blocking putts inside the circle paid with a bee-utiful shot that's basically what you're looking for she turned a little early and got lucky through those palms but...
