2019 The Open at Tallahassee • Pre Event Interview with Paul McBeth

Paul McBeth, two-time Disc Golf Pro World Champion, shares his initial thoughts on the 2019 Tallahassee Open course at a pre-event press conference. The park-like setting, featuring open fields and abundant green spaces, provides an interesting contrast to the tight wooded sections. With Florida's mild climate and minimal elevation changes, McBeth is focused on perfecting his game despite challenging weather conditions. He emphasizes the importance of maintaining mental toughness, particularly after an exceptional weekend at previous events, where he set multiple course records. McBeth highlights putting as a key area for improvement, a crucial aspect in staying competitive at the highest level. With 22 holes and a packed spectator field, this event promises to be exciting, with McBeth ready to put his skills to the test in front of fans eager to witness his performance.
